Job Responsibilities:
• Assist veterans in applying for and receiving veterans’ benefits, including healthcare, disability claims, and pension programs.
• Provide guidance on housing, employment, and educational opportunities for veterans.
• Coordinate with government agencies and organizations to facilitate veterans’ access to services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all services and support provided to veterans.
• Offer emotional and practical support, ensuring veterans’ needs are addressed promptly.
• Advocate on behalf of veterans, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed by relevant authorities.
• Help veterans with daily tasks such as filling out forms, making appointments, and understanding program eligibility.
Requirements:
• Experience in social work, administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Understanding of veteran programs, benefits, and support systems.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Military experience or prior work with veterans is an advantage.
